About Us

Northwest Employee Relations was established in 1981 by Gary Hedrick.

 

31 years of experience in providing management with advice and coaching in the complex area of managing human resources, we provides a methodology for understanding and implementing HR programs and systems necessary for operating a successful business.

 

Gary Hedrick offers management coaching in human resources, labor relations and contract negotiations, in addition to all facets of human resource management, including: development of HR Policies, employee benefit programs, employee counseling, and employee communications.

 

Gary has served as a trustee on a multi-employer health trust and a large multi-employer pension trust for over 25 years.  He currently serves as chairman of one of the first multi-employer 401K plans. 

 

Prior to establishing Northwest Employee Relations, Inc. he worked as an internal consultant for Esso Standard Seiku, located in Tokyo.

 

He served for 7 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer and Training Staff manager in the Republic of Korea.

 

Gary has a BA in Accounting from Seattle University, and an MBA from the Johnson School of Business, Cornell University.

 

Northwest Employee Relations also collaborates with many highly experienced HR consultants on different projects, depending on the needs of the client.
